We need someone passion for software development and looking to make a significant impact in the pet industry potentially revolutionizing the space, love for pets, independent developer requiring little to no hand-holding, a great team player, and most importantly positive attitude :)

Qualifications:

Basic:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Solid design, coding and debugging skills
Well-versed with fundamental computer science data structures and algorithms
Familiarity with LAMP stack
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Preferred:
5+ years software development experience, preferably on LAMP stack
Knowledge of and/or experience with one or more of the following -
AJAX, Javascript, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON, jQuery
Facebook API
HTTP protocol, Web Services - REST, SOAP
Database performance tuning, preferably MySQL
Agile development practices, Test Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration
Cloud computing and tools, preferably Amazon Web Services
Open-source tools e.g. Subversion, Bugzilla, Selenium
