Board Operator
Description:
Board Operators are responsible for running the mixing board during live broadcast/webcast radio shows, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs. In addition, you may help answer listener phone calls, screen listener calls for live shows, operate the broadcaster, check cameras, etc. This is a critical role in the on-air execution of the station. Board operators may also be responsible for monitoring and log keeping. All shows are one to two hours in length.
Qualifications:
Ability to easily grasp basic technical concepts. Moderate PC knowledge, familiarity with iTunes. We need applicants to be willing to make a commitment to their show for a minimum of three months and be reliable.
