Description:
The compensation for the Ad Sales Representative position will start with 20% commission earned, plus bonuses. Leads provided to start.The responsibility of an advertising sales representative is to secure ad sales for Hollywood Scriptwriter Magazine.
Must have an outgoing personality and be able to convince clients of the benefits of advertising in Hollywood Scriptwriter Magazine. Must have solid communication skills.
Prior experience is preferred at least six months.
Position will eventually become commission, plus salary based on consistent advertising sales.

Hollywood Scriptwriter magazine (HS) is an international trade publication that profiles screenwriters, producers and directors. If you are a good writer who likes the Hollywood scene or are interested in public relations or marketing, this internship is for you. The uniqueness about Hollywood Scriptwriter interns is that you do not get coffee and donuts, but when you write an article is published.
If you write a press release, it gets distributed globally. For this reason, the interns at HS must be able to write, work in a professional environment, be able to interview celebrities and be professional.
We do not teach the basics, instead, we perfect your skills by giving you real-world experience to be able to build your resume and portfolio.
Currently HS has 10 credit/non-credit internship opportunities for those pursuing journalism careers. Students or graduates are encouraged to apply immediately. We are looking for those interested in working in the following areas as an intern: reporter, editorial assistant, public relations, advertising and marketing.
The hours/days are flexible.
The office is located in Buena Park, 5 minutes from Cerritos directly off of the 91 freeway.
Internships can be short or long-term and for college credit or for professional experience.
