The Workshop is a full-service brand-building creative collective specializing in Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media, Website & Design firm with offices in Los Angeles and Miami.We are currently seeking interns for our Los Angeles office, Our company is looking for bright, motivated self-starters who want to gain practical experience in the lifestyle, fashion, entertainment and emerging brand marketing arenas.
You must have excellent people and communication skills, be professional, persuasive & personable. We depend on our interns heavily to support every facet of our endeavors.
We are specifically looking for positive, self-motivated people - attitude goes very far in our company. We need a young entrepreneur who likes to wear many hats and exemplifies a strong work ethic.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about Marketing, Public Relations and events & willing to learn and be mentored by seasoned veterans in the industry.

Overview
Position reports to Account Director and focuses on supporting the team on execution and follow up on projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Meeting agendas and meeting note recaps
- Oversee press clippings and recaps for all clients
- Daily media updates for the office
- Sample coordination with press & clients
- Writing/drafting media alerts
- Execution of smaller press pitches/media outreach (regional & media alert)
- Researching and maintaining press lists for clients
- Client project execution and research
- Event outreach/invites, RSVPs, follow-ups, check-ins
Qualifications:
We are looking for interns who have an active interest in all forms of public relations and marketing, specifically social media and website design/management. Applicants must be a dedicated, reliable, articulate, and personable. Must be able to commit to at least 10-15 hours per week.
Skills
- Must know how to use Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Strong writing and communication skills, team player, highly organized, strong follow through, detail oriented
