Film Programming
Description:
Our Film Programming internship enables interns to learn about film and media programming whilst also discovering the inner workings behind the promotion and curatorship of screenings. Interns will assist the film programmer with the preparation and advertising for programs and help with the actual film screenings. Interns will assist in writing press releases for screenings, researching and updating social network sites and press promotion for our programs, updating the screening mailing list and reviewing films for the screenings. They will also assist the film programmer with ticket sales, screening room set up and take down.
Qualifications:
• Sharp/savvy
• Reliable
• Articulate, with excellent oral & written communication skills
• Macintosh computer literate
• Knowledge of cinema history
• Familiar with Photoshop and Filemaker Pro
• Self directed
• Detail oriented

Hours:
1-5 days/week. Must Thurs/Fri 7:30pm-10:30pm
