International ProCorps Programs with FSD
Description:
ProCorps Volunteering with FSD is designed for working professionals and career changers looking for grassroots international development experience. This highly customizable, short-term volunteer experience allows you to contribute your professional expertise while addressing pressing socioeconomic issues at one of our ten global sites. Working directly with a local community organization at your site, you will gain a valuable perspective on your profession in an international context as well as a working knowledge of global development issues. FSDs programs promote collaboration with communities to enhance the capacity of individuals and organizations to address local health, social, environmental, and economic issues in both the short and long term. Many of our alumni have gone on to win Rhodes, Fulbright and other merit-based scholarships and work for prominent international development organizations like the World Bank and UNICEF.
