After six years of providing PR and Marketing services in house to designers, musicians and artists during our LA Fashion Week events, Project Ethos is proud to announce the creation of Project Ethos Public Relations, a haven for emerging brands. We are currently seeking part-time (15-20 hours/week), unpaid interns for the Spring semester.

Applicants should possess a strong interest in a career in Public Relations, excellent writing abilities, organizational skills, and online research. Graphic design skills and knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop a huge plus!

Qualifications:

Gain Hands On Experience In:

Researching and developing media lists
Assisting with press kit development
Assisting in creation of press releases
Conducting social media campaigns on Facebook and Twitter
Compiling, tracking, and monitoring press coverage
Assisting with editorial pitching / follow-up via phone and e-mail
Assisting with creating editorial pitch and story ideas
Researching editorial calendars and client-related background materials
Social media outreach
Gift bag/ product donation research and submissions

Applicants must have:

Enrolled in a four-year college or transferring to by next semester
Completed or enrolled in public relations coursework
Outgoing personality
Reliable transportation
Good communication/people skills
Genuine interest in public relations

Hours:

15-20 hours a week
