Bridge & Tunnel Communications is a full-service, entertainment public relations agency that handles day-to-day publicity for talent, film, and lifestyle PR.We are looking for a motivated go-getter, with a strong interest in public relations to join our team. Responsibilities include: creating and maintaining media lists, servicing clips, administrative support, answering phones, research, preparing outgoing packages, attending events and in-studios with clients, and drafting written materials that include client pitches, bios, press releases, tip sheets, itineraries, call sheets, etc.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of PR as well as building your professional portfolio.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
-Minimum commitment of 16-20 hours/week (full days preferred)
-Working knowledge of PowerPoint, word and excel
-Communication, Journalism, English, Marketing, and PR majors preferred
-A basic understanding of public relations, its purposes and tools
-A positive, can-do attitude
-Solid writing skills
-Attention to detail
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-Should be Thick-skinned
