Our Mission

TrueSpark is a nonprofit that exposes, immerses, and engages Americas youth on issues of character through watching inspiring movies and participating in interactive educational discussions and activities.

Responsibilities Include
• Located in Santa Monica but can work remotely
• Developing and implementing social media posting schedule
• Planning event centered/ themed Facebook & Twitter postings (Oscar season, holidays, anniversary of TrueSpark movies)
• Develop a consistent voice and look across TrueSpark social media platforms (create a style guide)
• Seek out connections to grow TrueSpark’s social media presence with movie, technology and education industry blogs.
• Provide Website Intern with content that is to be posted on the TrueSpark website.

Additional Information
• Office located in Santa Monica but can work remotely
• While not a paid position, we are always on the look-out for new employees and have hired interns many times in the past.
• Happy to meet requirements for course-credit
• Can provide awesome reference to future employers
• Weekly schedule as well as state/ end dates are flexible. Applications are being reviewed on a rolling basis.

Qualifications:

Qualifications
• Background or interest in nonprofits, education, entertainment or character development
• Internet savvy, knowledge of social networks and platforms
• Previous social media management experience preferred but not required
• Able to work independently
• Ability to work alone and collaboratively with our team
• Willing to use your own personal computer
