Description:

The Unravel Travel Social Media / Creative Copywriting Intern will gain practical experience in promoting and building community for an exciting brand through social media sites, email marketing campaigns, and the company blog. Intern will gain experience in establishing an online presence for the brand, interacting with consumers in real time on the web, using the correct voice for the brand, providing reporting to the company through various analytics.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute an ongoing web marketing strategy and social media calendar.
-Identify and develop creative, enticing content, moderate and engage fans/followers to prompt dialog, brand awareness, and SEO.
-Reach new audiences across various platforms to increase brand awareness.
-Form brand voice while writing blog articles, website content, mailing list emails, and social media posts.
-Provide weekly status reports and accomplishments.

Qualifications:

-Pursuing at least a BA/BS in Marketing, New Media/Interactive Marketing, -Business, Technical Journalism, or related field or equivalent.
-Must have an understanding of voice and tone on the internet and how it relates to various social media sites being utilized by the brand.
-Experience using, monitoring, and engaging social networking sites and tools such as forums, photo-sharing sites, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress, and YouTube.
-Ability to write fun, insightful , engaging, and informative copy.

Other Attributes, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
-Passion for travel in the Unravel style
-Travel experience outside of the US is preferable
-Solid writing and online copywriting skills
-Highly motivated, energetic, and creative
-Ability to work independently- a self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
-Background and/or interest in social media, planning, marketing
-Friendly, flexible and a sense of humor
-Extreme attention to detail
