If you are a student who loves marketing, media and all that goes with it our Advertising department is accepting applications for Marketing interns.
Yellow Scene is a leading publication in Boulder County and the North Metro region with a strong focus on compelling, engaging and, most importantly, relevant content. We also have a sharp graphics team and a monster distribution. Colorado Brides to Colorado Babies is our newest labor of love and has been out for a year. It is a dual magazine for lifes next great adventures along the Front Range.
We have grown when many other publications have not, because instead of following a tired, old format, we have thought about the present and the future. We are innovative, original, and a part of our readers everyday lives in a time when older, more traditional models have lost the ability to reach deep within the local market, and when the internet - albeit worldwide - doesnt effectively reach the local market. We have found a successful niche based on quality, talent and lots of ambition. Our team is tight-knit and we tend to attract those individuals who seek a place to flourish and be themselves while contributing to something they love (or learn to love). 

A Yellow Scene Marketing Intern will learn about all aspects of the publishing business, including how to:
• Learn about the sales process from start to finish
• Learn about design and connecting from our in-house ad agency, Yellow House
• Work with administrative team to help manage ad process and database management

Yellow Scene Magazine is the voice of Boulder County and the North Metro region, providing exhaustive coverage of local culture, arts, entertainment and compelling news stories for the active lifestyle of the area. Yellow Scene publishes and distributes 70,000 copies monthly and is the largest circulated publication serving the 14 communities of the Boulder County and North Metro region.
Colorado Brides and Colorado Babies is our newest publication and will be targeting the entire Front Range covering Lifes Next Great Adventures. We will be distributing 70,000 copies to newly engaged and new parents throughout Colorado twice a year with a strong web presence.
Yellow House is our graphics and marketing division specializing in custom design and marketing for local business.

Internships are non-paid but can be given credit for school. In house bonuses are awarded on performance. Opportunity to work into paid positions.
