Colorado Mountain Club, a 100 year old non-profit, is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking Photo Editor Intern! Our organization is devoted to ensuring that current and future generations have access to the mountains and open spaces of Colorado through recreation, education, and conservation.Passion, willingness to learn, and dedication are much more important than years of experience!
This position is ideal for a current student or recent graduate who has some basic technical and theoretical knowledge and is looking for some experience. The position will start February 4th or sooner if remote work is applicable. This a great opportunity for service-learning, volunteer, or internship graduation requirement as you will be working alongside a mentor who will help walk you through project needs, details, and specifics. That being said, you’ll also have an opportunity to take ownership over your project - talk about a resume builder!
In addition to some on-site work, there will be opportunities to work remotely. It is important that any applicant have access to a reliable internet connection and have experience using the Creative Suite (Photoshop) for editing.

Qualifications:
Responsibilities of the photo editor internship include:
• Help create a database for CMC stock photography
• Edit and optimize photos
• Determine additional organizational photo needs
• Create a photo filing system for streamlined ease of use
• Create a photography brand style guide
