Description:

Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

•Help plan and prepare for 21st annual Backcountry Bash Conservation fundraiser, sponsored by Chipotle & Avery
•Assist with preparations for screening of the Backcountry Film Festival at the American Mountaineering Center
•Provide administrative support for development activities associated with foundation, individual, and corporate fundraising
•Ensure proper and timely entry of contributions and in-kind gifts into the Raiser’s Edge system
•Create and distribute timely, accurate, and thoughtful gift-acknowledgement letters

Additional Duties May Include:

•Assist in the marketing efforts for special events
•Communicate with donors, corporations and foundations via email, postal mail and phone calls
•Assist in designing and implementing email campaigns and social media posts
•Solicit and track auction item donations and sponsorship
•Research foundation and corporate fundraising opportunities
•Material preparation and assembly
•Complete special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Education/Work Experience:

•Minimum of college level Junior classification; at least 1 year of previous work experience


Recommended Skills:

•Experience with PC Microsoft Windows and the software programs associated with Windows, particularly but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
•Database-entry skills, specifically with Raiser’s Edge, is a plus (not required
