Description:

• Analyze the company and other affiliates to gain a firm understanding of our goals and markets
• Create new ways to enhance our public image and bring more attention to our innovative products
• Engage in collaborative work with other interns and team members to develop new concepts and possibilities for future projects
• Conduct research to find new associations that would benefit from a relationship with AEON and initiate contact with them
• Compile a list of all networking opportunities involving our targeted associations including any future events, conferences, and meetings
• Take part in the creation of ideas and development of sales presentations and scripts for potential corporate clients / partners and networking referral sources
• Attend weekly virtual meetings with supervisor to discuss progress of work and future goals
• Maintain consistent communication with new associations to build upon current relationships and develop new ones

Qualifications:

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are dedicated to advancing the organization and who also pay great attention to detail. Must have passion for marketing and management. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are also a must. Proficiency with all technology tools including email, MS Office, Internet, and is also willing to learn new user-friendly software. Candidate must be able to work independently while still being a team player. Must have effective time management skills and be able to attend weekly phone meetings. Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new marketing and business ideas is a bonus. Also, must be punctual, reliable, and have the ability to adapt well to an ever-changing environment with new possibilities. Preferable if candidate has experience in marketing and management, but it is not required.

Additional Info:

This is a virtual internship! Interns will work from home or any location that has an Internet connection. This allows for great flexibility with any schedule. Candidates living or going to school near Wallingford, CT may also have the opportunity to be provided with office space and onsite opportunities.
