Latin é is looking for help from individuals who are interested in our mission of uplifting Latinos through quality entertainment by contributing video production services. We desired highly motivated, organized Video Production candidates in the Washington, DC & Baltimore, Maryland area. These services can also be used as an internship.Duties and Responsibilities:
• Producing a variety of High Definition (HD) video products for broadcasting,
DVD distribution, webcasting, and video streaming Discusses various topics over
telephone and email with viewers
• Plans and performs video post-production tasks which includes reviewing
footage, making editorial decisions, tape logging, rough cuts, audio adjustment,
color correction, and final editing
Qualifications:
Desired Qualification:
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Fluency with social media (Facebook, Twitter, HootSuite, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc)
• Experience in video editing and tools such as iMovie, Motion 5, Final Cut Pro, Adobe
Premiere Pro and Adobe Elements.
• Experience with audio editing
• Ability to take initiative /Self starter attitude

Latin é is the newest entertainment source for the Latino community. We are redefining entertainment for Latinos who are too Americanized to watch traditional Latin Television (i.e. Telemundo, Univision, etc) but aren’t having their cultural needs met through American Television (i.e. MTV, E! Entertainment News, VH1, BET). Although we are a start-up company, we have already generated a large buzz in social buzz. With over 224+ followers on twitter including the American Latino rapper, songwriter, actor and record producer, Pitbull, Latin recording artist Ricky C and new partnership with Comedian Erik Rivera, Latin é’s following is growing exponentially. Our website (latin-e.com) currently consists of reviews/blogs, Latin é TV, news, and Latin é Events. We are currently working on our first talk which we aim to have released in early 2013 and will continue to develop/ produce our own shows with an end state of having our own national cable channel dedicated to the American Latino.
