Save Darfur Coalition Summer 2010 Internship

Interested in spending your summer interning in Washington, D.C.? The Save Darfur Coalition is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated full-time interns for the summer of 2010. Interns will work closely with the Coalitions staff to fulfill both administrative and programmatic duties. Internships will be offered in International policy and outreach, government relations, campaigns/advocacy and media relations. Internships are unpaid, but students may receive college credit, if applicable.

Qualifications:

•Passion for ending the genocide in Darfur and bringing peace to Sudan;
•Ability to work independently;
•Strong organizational and time management skills;
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
•Strong internet research skills;
•Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally within a diverse community;
•Foreign language skills (particularly Arabic and French) and international experience are a plus, but are not necessary;

Hours:

20-35 hours/week
