Description:

The Jr. Graphic Designer Intern would gain hands-on experience executing the visual branding message of the organization through print, web and video mediums. The ideal candidate will be capable of taking initiative and working independently, as well as, in groups, while maintaining tight deadlines and bringing a fresh approach to the table. The Jr. Graphic Designer must provide the visual story to the organization’s message by making use of diverse methods including the associations branded typeset, color, photographs and illustrations to create a general layout. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. This position will report to the Creative Director. This position has potential to grow into a permanent position within the organization

Qualifications:

Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, Powerpoint,

Working knowledge of Web, Social Media and Video applications

Exceptional conceptual, graphic design and layout skills

Effective communication and organizational skills

Professionally handles constructive criticism and rejection

Ability to manage multiple projects in a faced-paced, deadline driven environment

Ability to work efficiently within a cross-departmental team
