Art Soiree, premier artist publicist company, is looking for enthusiastic, hardworking interns who have a genuine passion for art and social media. The internships are unpaid and ideal candidates are available to work in our office at least 10-15 hours a week. We will be more than happy to help arrange credit if you’re eligible for that with your school. Internships begin end of September through December; and can be extended through Spring Semester. They also have the potential to become part-time paid positions.

We’re a small staff, and our interns function as integral members of the events and design team, so be prepared to be very hands on.

Intern must be working toward a college degree. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who, while fulfilling his/her expected duties, is always looking for new and innovative ways to help grow the organization. He/she must be responsible, timely, and, most importantly, enthusiastic about the position and about his/her own improvement.

DUTIES:
Research, write, and/or edit articles for newsletters, website, social media, event invitations and proposals.
Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, mock ups, e-mail campaigns, on line promotion, etc.
Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials.
Prepare presentations.
Enter contact information into contact management systems.
Maintain tracking report of public relations activity.

Qualifications:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, acute attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as required.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Publisher
- Web and Social Media savvy
