Spring Communications/Public Relations Internship

The Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) seeks a Communications/Public Relations intern for the Spring semester! FOSI is a nonprofit organization that works with the leading Internet and social media companies. This is a great opportunity for a college senior or recent graduate with a background in communications, public relations, marketing, or other related field of study.Responsibilities may include:
• Help draft public relations materials including news releases, media alerts, fact sheets, status and other materials as directed.
• Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies aimed at
increasing awareness about FOSI.
• Track FOSI’s news coverage and seek follow-up opportunities with reporters.
• Help with public relations efforts around FOSI’s events.
• Assist with the development and updating of media lists and other databasesWe would prefer someone who could work 2-3 days per week in our Penn Quarter office. FOSI will work with any college/university to grant internship credit upon request.
The position is unpaid, but we will provide a travel and lunch subsidy.
