Lobbying is an integral part to policy making in Washington, DC, and we need you to help balance the scales away from corporate profits and into whats best for our Country.

Your job will be scheduling meetings with Capitol Hill staffers so that we can educate Congress about industrial hemp farming: how it will help rural communities and create jobs, help the environment, and give consumers new products.

Vote Hemp is a non-partisan singe issue advocacy group dedicated to changing our domestic policy on Industrial Hemp Farming in the United States. Responsibilities will include research on Congressional offices and committees, scheduling meetings via phone and email, managing an excel spreadsheet with congressional office contacts, and other activities.

Qualifications:

This job requires a passion and interest, but no experience required. The work done will be integral and important to our efforts. This is an unpaid intership position. Work can be done from home. Preferred time to work is during the 9-5 work week, but hours can be flexible based on your schedule.
