Web/Communications Intern
Description:
The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) is seeking a part-time student intern to work with the Communications department and to assist with website updates. This is a paid internship and working an estimated 10 – 20 per week through the Spring semester with potential for summer work, depending on the student’s schedule. The intern will be responsible for website updates, assisting with written and editorial work for our Developments magazine, participating in meetings with our public relations firm, basic graphic design work, use of social media platforms on behalf of the Association and other projects, as assigned by the Communications department.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a student who is currently majoring in Communications, Journalism, English or any other relevant degree. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing and editing skills, as well as hands on knowledge of Microsoft Office; candidates with a basic knowledge of Adobe Suite, HTML and CMS is a plus.
