Human Services Agency with a rich tapestry of human services for youth and their families is in search of a Database Intern who will be engaged for six (6) months owning work, presenting ideas, and driving results.

We are seeking a Database Intern who has experience in design, developing and leverage processes for executing test scripts, and expansion of an automation and QA environment management frameworks.

The ideal candidate will assist with building experience and skills in one or more of the following languages: Java, Ruby, Python, Objective C, C#, C/C++, Perl, XML, JSON, UML, JavaScript, Visual Basic, HTML, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripts.

Qualifications:

1. Must be an active junior or senior enrolled in one of the following Bachelor’s degree programs: engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, computer information systems, management of information systems, etc…
2. Basic to advanced skills in one or more of the following: Java, Ruby, Python, Objective C, C#, C/C++, Perl, XML, JSON, UML, JavaScript, Visual Basic, HTML, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripts, Active Directory, Windows 2008 Server, and SharePoint 2010.
3. Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills.
4. Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
5. High degree of professionalism and willingness to be coached.
6. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
7. Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
