MyMela is currently seeking a sales and marketing intern to assist with the growing demands of our fast-paced business. The intern’s role will facilitate streamlined operations and administration of current marketing strategies and provide an opportunity to gain valuable experience.

Illustrative tasks expected to be accomplished:
• Compile information, images and conduct research as necessary for blog posts
• Research relevant events and new ideas for blog posts
• Assist in laying out email marketing campaigns, sending tests
• Research web to find relevant news/media articles
• Draft social media posts
• Schedule approved social media posts
• Monitor the marketing efforts of competition
• Assist in brainstorming social media marketing strategies

Qualifications:

Basic Selection Requirements
1. High school or college student or graduate
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet-savvy
4. Self-motivated, strong organizational and time-management skills are a must
5. Should have his/her own laptop
