MyMela is currently seeking a sales and marketing intern to assist with the growing demands of our fast-paced business. The intern’s role will facilitate streamlined operations and administration of current marketing strategies and provide an opportunity to gain valuable experience. Please note this internship is non paid.

Qualifications:

Basic Selection Requirements
1. High school or college student or graduate
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet-savvy
4. Self-motivated, strong organizational and time-management skills are a must
5. Should have his/her own laptop

Illustrative tasks expected to be accomplished:
• Compile information, images and conduct research as necessary for blog posts
• Research relevant events and new ideas for blog posts
• Assist in laying out email marketing campaigns, sending tests
• Research web to find relevant news/media articles
• Draft social media posts
• Schedule approved social media posts
• Monitor the marketing efforts of competition
• Assist in brainstorming social media marketing strategies
