Athletics Internship
Description:
The Athletics Division Intern will focus on:
Assisting in all aspects of the athletics division for the City; such as field and umpire scheduling, tournament bidding and production, tennis operation and league programming.Provide support to our tournament team managing various tournaments and championships.Variety of administrative responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
An Individual who is a self-starter, energetic, detail oriented and outgoing; knowledge of tournament production, event planning, resource scheduling, marketing and public relations are preferred but not required. Candidates pursuing degrees in Recreation Management, Sports/Leisure Management, Special Event Planning and all recreation fields are encouraged to apply.

The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for providing Clearwater residents the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of of enjoyable recreation activities.
We strive to give each student what they desire in on the job experience, while assisting each student in satisfying all the conditions set forth by the placing school. Our internships are structured around the individual goals of each student, and can be comprised of any one or more of the exposures mentioned below.
