Events & Festivals Intern
Description:
Assist with events team in the planning, producing and promotion of concerts, festivals, races, sporting events, marketing/advertising at two of Tampa Bay’s premier venues- Coachman Park and Bright House Networks Field.
Participate in the production of community events such as collegiate & amateur tournaments, ceremonies, festivals and concerts.
Support of administrative responsibilities and tasks.
Qualifications:
An individual who is a self-starter, energetic, detail oriented, and outgoing; possessing knowledge about entertainment and/or special events planning, public relations, fundraising, grant applications, and/or volunteer management. Candidates pursuing degrees in Special Events Planning, Mass Communication, Advertising, Marketing, Sports/Leisure Management and recreation fields are encouraged to apply.

The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for providing Clearwater residents the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of of enjoyable recreation activities.
