This internship is currently unpaid. The successful candidate will work from his/her home/office. This internship is geared towards giving students professional experience in their related field of study. This is an educational opportunity and students MAY receive academic credit.

The Social Media Intern will be responsible for building traffic and presence for populHER Boutique online. This includes daily community listening, engagement and conversation. The ideal candidate will have proven, previous experience reposition a brand using social media in a work or university setting; as well as experience using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google+, Stumbleupon and other relevant sites.

Help launch and manage online presence on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Linked In, Pinterest, Google+, Stumbleupon and more
• Increase brand awareness of all populHER Boutique services
• Recommend new and exciting social media content/promotional ideas
• Engaging in conversations with target audiences through various interactive media
• Building and maintaining relationships with social media administrators present online

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year experience in social media
• Degree or working towards a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or other related field
• Must be an active social networking site user
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong writing skills
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills
Has an innate passion for fashion and style
