Accounting Intern

Description:

You will handle multiple bank accounts, reconciliations, client jobs, postings, invoicing, track multiple client’s funds, and learn proper tax and general business procedures. You will also touch upon corporate renewals, tax exemption forms and general business reports (depending on the time of year.) You will also work on accounting for multiple companies including a Technology company, event planning company (Paragon), and two associations managed by Paragon. There is no experience like the well-rounded, hands on experience Paragon can provide. This is a high paced position that requires attention to detail and a high level of organization.

*NOTE: IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT TO ARRANGE FOR APPROVAL FOR ACADEMIC CREDIT FROM THE APPROPRIATE ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO ACCEPTING THE INTERNSHIP FOR CREDIT.

Qualifications:

- Must be pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Demonstrate working knowledge of MS Word, MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- GPA 3.5 or higher
- Must be a Junior or Senior
- Part Time: M-F 8:30AM-5:30PM
- Semester term (4 months) preferred (no less than 2 months)
