Orlando Repertory Theatre, a professional theatre for young audiences and families, is seeking a Lighting Intern for the 2017-2018 season!

The Lighting Internship provides practical application to anyone building his or her professional resume. While working side-by-side with the Lighting Department staff, the intern will serve as an electrician on a number of The REP’s productions throughout the year. From hanging, circuiting, and focus calls to special effects and production paperwork, the intern will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of theatrical lighting, including joining the electrics run crew for certain productions. Applicants should have basic knowledge of theatrical lighting and electrics and be comfortable with heights. This internship is based on a 40 hour work week and the intern receives a weekly stipend of $165 to assist with living expenses.
Internship dates are August through May with the option to extend through the summer of 2018.

Interns also benefit from complimentary tickets to REP productions during their stay. Housing is not provided.
