Public Relations Agency specializing in Food, Wine and Spirits is looking for a Public Relations and Marketing intern at their NYC office for Summer 2013. As an intern you will develop an understanding of the food and beverage industry and gain experience working with media.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Developing media lists
• Compiling placements and media reports
• Collecting, organizing and presenting market research
• Developing new project ideas
• Familiarizing yourself with the industry and generating ideas for content based on current events and trends
• Assisting with administrative responsibilities
• Assisting with event planning and execution

Qualifications:

*You must have solid communication skills and be looking to shape your written and verbal skills for consumer PR.
*You must be eligible for school credit
*You must be available 2-3 days per week
* Basic computer skills using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Social Media and/or Graphic Design skills a plus.
