Public Relations Intern-Spring 2012
Description:
We are looking for interns interested in learning all aspects of the public relations field.
Duties to include:
Assist in implementing public relations plans and marketing campaigns
Help coordinate events and camps
Track marketing and media outreach
Pitching clients to various media outlets
Media list development- regional and national
Social media management
Assist with charity & nonprofit support
Communications with the media
Developing media related materials
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
The internship program is for juniors and seniors only majoring in communications, public relations, sports management or media. Strong communication, writing and follow up skills are mandatory. Applicants should have a solid understanding of social media. Interns will work a minimum of 16 hours per week at our office in the Perimeter area, starting the week of January 16th.
