Marketing Internship
Description:
Phil® is a donation service that connects local nonprofit organizations with local businesses in order to provide funding to community members in need. We are looking for motivated marketing interns with experience in brand planning, campaign management, press release writing, fundraising, and promotions. The internship can be tailored to each student’s experience and goals and may include such duties as:-create Phil bumper stickers and other forms of stickers
-create brochures/flyers to leave with businesses that clearly explain how the business would potentially play a role and exactly what Phil is (in case there is some confusion after the sales team leaves)
-design and distribute marketing materials to raise awareness of who we are and what we do (ex: some kind of Phil sticker with a QR code)
-create a large Phil banner that we can use to give to our sponsoring businesses
-plan, develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative marketing, public relations and promotion program aimed at increasing the awareness and usage of all Phil services by varied user groups including students, alumni, and community members.
-design, create, and distribute promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, newsletters, calendars, promotional materials and posters
-develop and edit content for email notices, news releases, and journal articles
-develop and execute the firm’s marketing plan and assign responsibilities, deadlines and budgets
-working with pay per click, writing and distributing press releases, pitching stories and interacting with the media, writing customer case studies and other marketing collateral, placing company speakers at events, submitting award applications and more
-assist practice groups to develop and implement achievable marketing plans consistent witht the firm’s objectives. Develop tactics to implement those plans.
-establish clear marketing objectives and measure ROI of ongoing marketing initiatives
-develop and report on key performance metrics for marketing programs
-development and administration of all promotional/marketing activities
-seek out and develop relationship-marketing opportunities, including industry associationsDesired start date for this part-time summer internship is May 15, 2012. In most cases, course credit can be earned. Future career growth possible.
