Description:

Asta Publications is seeking highly organized, energetic, reliable, independent, detailed oriented and very creative interns. The Publicist Intern will schedule author book signings and author readings, write press releases and pitch letters, will work with Marketing Department to develop promotional materials. Interns must be familiar with Internet research, online marketing, blogs, and social network sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Must be comfortable working independently on projects, have excellent communication skills, a professional phone manner, and strong writing abilities.

Qualifications:

Applicant must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be familiar with writing press releases, comfortable with social media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook, and excellent people skills.
