This internship is ideal for a student interested in e-commerce, entrepreneurship, product research, and social media.

This position is for a new e-commerce boutique business specializing in dog apparel, accessories, and supplies.

Qualifications:

Intern Responsibilities Include:
• Researching products that sell, don’t sell, high in demand, etc.
• Researching pricing for products
• Contacting designers for wholesale pricing and to create accounts.
• Researching branding options
• Researching best practices for organization of inventory, sale logs, etc.
• Logging of merchandise onto website, and adding all the details.
• administrative duties
• Social Media marketing
• Other tasks as may be assigned.
Must have a love of dogs and understand the dog apparel business.
Successful applicants should: 1) have strong research and/or administrative skills; 2) be skilled in major social networking sites, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. ; 3) be able to work independently and collectively as part of group; 4) possess the ability to synthesize research and analyze information; 5) have strong interpersonal communication, writing, and editing skills; 6) have an excellent command of Microsoft Office Software (to include WORD, EXCEL and PUBLISHER) and, be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree program or a recent graduate (within the last year).
This is a non-paid internship but will expose you to a large amount of experience.
