Job Description:

Under the guidance of senior engineers and/or management:

Assists Engineers in the design of sheet metal parts, weldments, Electro-Mechanical packaging, large and small welded and bolted assemblies, and fiberglass parts.
Completes material and system specification, technical reports and technical proposals, and follow-up to ensure proper and effective implementation and integration.
Performs design, development, testing and modifications of solutions.
Performs explanations and clarifies information to enable proper interpretation and evaluation of specifications, performance characteristics or other technical data.
Performs internal and external communication of technical and commercial issues.
Completes recommendations for new designs, new processes, or design changes to meet requirements.
Refers complex, unusual problems to senior engineers and/or management.
Identifies and resolves problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal with most situations.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Engineering Student only.
Must be self-driven, motivated and able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Must be capable of understanding mechanical drawings and/or Electrical schematics.
Knowledge of corrosion protection (ie. Paint, Powder Coat, anodize, zinc plating).
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, interfacing with factory workers, communication with suppliers and customers, and interdepartmental interaction.
