Real Atlanta Magazine is dedicated to the Latin community in Atlanta and surrounding cities. It is an informative magazine with the latest news in entertainment, careers, and community involvement and events. We are relaunching our website and our presence in the Latin community and would like to invite you to take part in this monumental opportunity.

We are looking for self-motivated team players who want to write articles on various subjects, conduct interviews with international artists, and represent Real Atlanta Magazine at events around the city. Whether you are a college student looking for a great opportunity with an educational internship or an amateur writer in search of a venue to express your creativity, serving as a writing department intern at Real Atlanta Magazine is sure to be a rewarding and exciting experience.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is:
Responsible: Can meet deadlines, attend events assigned to them and represent Real Atlanta Magazine in a professional manner at all times. Upon consideration of managing director and due to long distances, some writers may work from home and need not attend events if discussed and agreed upon before acceptance.

Organized: Can juggle several tasks and still produce quality and timely results.

Communicative: Can communicate with the team on a regular basis and attend meetings and share feedback with team.

Creative: Can find original and entertaining angles and spin stories that will keep our readers coming back for more.

Bilingual: Although Spanish/English proficiency is not required, some knowledge of the language and/or culture is preferred, as we publish some stories in Spanish as well as English and our readership is mostly of Latino background.

Possesses strong writing skills: A degree is not necessary, but it is expected that a candidate will have some writing experience, or an interest and aptitude for writing and a strong desire to learn.
