EduCARE India is an Indian NGO created in 1994 and working towards social and sustainable development. The NGO is implanted in several rural villages of Northern India with approximately 7 other interns in each village.EduCARE requires a dedicated and passionate Internal Policy intern to assist with the development and strategic management of the Global Skills Program in India.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have completed at least 2 years of further education in the area of communications, policy, public relations, education, NGO management or other related field. Previous professional experience and post-graduate studies is preferred.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
• Excellent problem solving and lateral thinking ability
• Experience working with an intranet or other online communication tool
• Up-to-date knowledge of internal communications / policy methodology
• Understanding of the role internal communications plays in a cohesive organisation
• Ability to work in a multicultural/diverse environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to use tact, diplomacy and persuasiveness when necessary
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and to work as part of a team
