Description:

The candidate will facilitate supplier strategies through analyzing industry/market trends and business needs. Will identify emerging opportunities and translates into strategies and action plans. Partner with CIS, Legal, Audit, LOB Partners to negotiate strategies and manage the supplier relationship. Write standard legal contracts working with Legal, Risk partners, as needed. Create detailed project plan to execute sourcing initiatives. Write standard legal contracts working with Legal, Risk, and other partners. Responsible for the one or two commodities. Accountable for meeting or exceeding annual cost savings goals in addition to any related service and responsiveness improvements. May manage a team of Sourcing Leads and SCM analysts. Act as single point of contact for business partners facilitating sourcing related activities for Latin America. Lead supplier selection process to include formal RFI, RFQ and RFPs. Negotiate and write contracts in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Manage and own supplier relationships spanning multiple commodities. Manage multiple sourcing projects at any given time. Interface with Suppliers and cross-functional partners to ensure flawless execution and support business goals and objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in assessing, evaluating Suppliers providing products and services to Latin America. Qualification and Experience The candidate should have a B.A. or B.S. degree with 5-10 years of strategic sourcing experience. An MBA and/or J.D. degree (or equivalent) are desirable. Certified Professional Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Procurement Manager (CPM) a plus. Six Sigma certified and PMP certified a plus. Experience with the financial industry, global markets, wealth management and treasury products a plus. Experience with Ariba and MS Office asset. Should have strong written and verbal communications skills in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Must be knowledgeable of business unit, industry and market trends, risks and opportunities.
