C&C Tax & Financial Service, Inc. has internships available in both the bookkeeping and tax departments. The internships provide an excellent way for students to participate in actual audit and tax compliance engagements and meet a variety of professionals both internally and externally. Interns work directly with C&C Tax & Financial Service, Inc. management staff and client personnel gathering data and summarizing results. The internship will provide insights for the student as he starts his career as well as providing an inside look at the career path opportunities in a professional service firm. Students are required to have completed at least five full-time semesters (junior statue) and be working toward a degree in accounting and/or finance. C&C Tax & Financial Service, Inc. has two structured internship programs. The first is a Winter/Spring program, which begins January and runs one to three months. The second program begins in early June and runs for 10 to 12 weeks. Both programs are flexible as to timing and working hours based upon your individual availability and the firms needs. Qualifications:
BACKGROUND
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and have completed sophmore year
• Must have a graduation date between December 2012 – June 2014
• Must be familiar with MS office products
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 grade point average scaleSKILLS
• Superior analytical abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Intellectual curiosity
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to translate ideas into clear priorities
