Description:

We are currently in need of hiring a Business Development Associate to support and work as part of our Sales and Marketing team. This role will handle inbound calls clients and/or sponsors to assist in the achievement of client satisfaction, revenue generation, and short and long-term goals in line with the company’s vision and values.
• Demonstrates the ability to gather and submit detailed business information on client needs, pricing and timelines for current and prospect clients to the management team.
• Assist in document preparation including proposal developments, quotes and legal agreements.
• Attend and arrange client meetings, on-site visits, and conference calls when appropriate.
• Maintain effective working team relationships with the BD team and other functional areas of the organization that meets company core values.
• Maintain open communications with all levels of management.
• Assist and support Business Development efforts and team members when requested.
• Assist with the overall advertisement needs for promoting the company via various media channels, scientific conferences and trade shows.
• Assumes other activities and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Must have above average abilities to meet and communicate effectively with current clients/sponsors and potential prospects at all levels
2. Ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
3. Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills in English and Japanese as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Multi-tasking skills with an ability to meet established deadlines.
5. Proven ability to handle confidential information.
6. Excellent computer skills, including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
7. Scientific knowledge to understand the Company’s services and a strong desire to learn.
8. Passionate and driven individual contributor and team member.
9. Attentive to details.
