Position Scope:
We are looking for a part-time, paid student interns who are ambitious, hungry and have the desire to make a difference. Working with the Technology team, this intern will play a key role in developing cutting edge web-based 3D products. This role will include collaboration with Software Engineers, Researchers and 3d Simulation Developers. As such, the candidate must have ability to work across teams and be able to wear multiple hats.Position Description:
This Software Engineering intern will work on the Software Development team and interact with multiple teams at InContext. He/She will develop an understanding of our web delivery platform and our web-based tools that aid in configuring and analyzing research projects. The intern will be responsible for various projects within these areas that may include developing tools for data analysis, web content delivery, web services, and data management. This person will also be responsible for the maintenance of current research studies, working within existing software frameworks to solve interesting problems independently.

Candidates should:• Be pursuing a BS degree in computer science, information technology, web development, engineering or math and have excellent programming skills.
• Have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Be well-versed in Object-Oriented Programming concepts and languages including C#, Python, Java
• Be well-versed in SQL and a commercial relational database like MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
• Have some familiarity with web programming concepts like MVC, RESTful web services, JSON and XML
• Be intelligent and passionate about what they do
• Be friendly and likeable. We wouldn’t hire someone who we wouldn’t like to sit next to on an airplane for 12 hours.
