Position Scope:
We are looking for a part-time, paid student interns who are ambitious, hungry and have the desire to make a difference. Working with the our Technology and Product Management teams, this intern will play a key role in developing cutting edge web-based 3D products. This role will include collaboration with Artists, Software Engineers, and 3d Simulation Developers.

Position Description:
This Software Engineer Intern will work on the Software Development team and interact with multiple teams at InContext. He/She will develop an understanding of our content creation tools, 3d simulation engine, and asset management systems. The intern will be responsible for various projects over the course of the internship that may be related to new product development, internal tool development, or updates and improvements to existing software. This position should prove very interesting to a student pursuing a career in the 3d simulation or video game industries.

• Be pursuing a BS degree in computer science, engineering or math and have excellent programming skills.
• Have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Be well-versed in Object-Oriented Programming concepts and languages including C#, and Python. Experience with MEL script is also a plus
• Previous experience with commercial relational databases like MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc. is strongly preferred
• Have some familiarity with polygon-based 3d graphics technologies like Maya or OpenGL
• Be comfortable working with version control systems like Perforce or SVN
• Be intelligent and passionate about what they do
• Be friendly and likeable. We wouldn’t hire someone who we wouldn’t like to sit next to on an airplane for 12 hours.
