Social Media/Marketing Intern Needed. Dynamic IT Services Firm in West Loop in the heart of the Kinzie Corridor, one block from Google’s new Chicago headquarters is looking for a sharp and articulate individual who would like to gain some great experience working with the company on its social media platforms and other marketing projects. Be a part of our team and help us to market both our IT Services and our new CoWorking Space. We are working on developing a strong social media, advertising and marketing presence in the next few months. We are looking for a sharp, hardworking individual with some experience to help us out.

Qualifications:

Work with our team on daily / weekly social media plan which will also incorporate other marketing and advertising efforts. Social media will include, but not be limited to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Writing projects include; corporate one page marketing collateral for meetings and trade shows, blog or newsletters and corporate documents.
Daily monitoring, posting, content (both written + visual) creation + development to our current social media sites along with creating and developing other social media channels, including blogging, video, photo and email marketing. Helps to identify new opportunities for online marketing and advertising campaigns.

Requirements
Great written and verbal skills along with strong working knowledge of several social media platforms and email campaigns.
Ability to think outside-the-box and loves emerging technology.
A sense of humor and an irreverent, smart and creative copy-style
Ability to own projects and assume responsibility without hand-holding
Excellent writing, editing and copyediting skills
Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Self-starter who can thrive and have fun in a hectic, fast paced environment
Ability to juggle many highly-visible issues and respond quickly with sound judgment
