Description:

Intern will be the stage manager for the summer productions and will assist the theatre manager in all aspects of the production process. The productions will include the Faeries, Sprites, and Lights event featuring a few short performances during the event and 8 improvisational characters that operate during the outdoor event. It will also include the solo piece that is a part of our Away from Home Civil War exhibit. The intern might also be called upon for various tech related aspects of the production such as constructing various props.

- Assemble and maintain all production info, scripts, and cues for each production
- Create all documentation for the production such as props lists, blocking info, etc
- Keep rehearsal logs and performance logs
- Assist in setup and strike during the productions
- Preparing the rehearsal space for the actors
- Tracking duration of runs and keeping the rehearsals on schedule
- Organizing all details and needs of the production and disseminating information
- Props creation and maintenance
- Other theatre related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a basic-advanced understanding of stage management, a hard work ethic that is self-motivated, and an ability to be detail orientated.
