PROMISE Cyber School, on-line English Education company, is currently seeking interns to become a part of an exciting, new program. PCS has partnered up with University of Maryland’s English Language Center to create and provide a quality TESOL certification program for our interns.

During the program, interns will complete courses on line through the English Language Center. The program consists of 3 courses and takes one year to complete. Interns will also be required to complete a portfolio to earn their certification. After the program is complete, interns will have earned the International TESOL Instructor Certificate.

While completing the TESOL certificate course, interns will also work up to 5 hours a week for PROMISE Cyber School. By working for PCS, interns will be able to gain valuable hands on teaching experience and utilize time in the class to help create a portfolio. All interns will be paid $13 an hour for teaching. Requirements to participate are as follows:

1. High speed Internet
2. Web cam
3. Mic and headset
4. Ability to commit one year to the program
5. Must teach up to 5 hours a week for PCS
6. Enjoy teaching and having a positive impact on the lives of children.

Best of all, the TESOL program is FREE for all PCS interns! Normally this class would cost $2,200 if taken through UMBC’s English Language Center. Classes start September and space is limited!
