Description:
Responsibility: The primary focus is to provide management, vision and oversight of companys retirement services unit, while achieving its overall growth objectives. Will be responsible for building and growing the Retirement Services unit by expanding the products and service offerings, evaluating and managing third party providers, developing new business relationships, as well as expanding the services provided to current clients. Will also be responsible for the management of a portfolio of the largest and most complex employee benefits trust accounts. In addition, will be responsible for managing, guiding and mentoring a team of 3-5 Employee Benefits Trust Officers; as well as provide support to regional administration teams and their clients throughout companys footprint. Will be responsible for a full range of retirement products and services, with a goal of new sales fee income from these products of $75,000 - $125,000 annually. Qualification and Experience Requirements: Four-years degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or J.D. degree is a plus. Must be certified or work towards obtaining a professional certification Trust School, CTFA, CFP, or similar accreditation within 3 years of job assignment; or have an equivalent amount of training and experience. 10+ years of investment and/or trust experience or equivalent professional experience, including 8+ years of experience in retirement services. Experience in managing a large, complex and diversified trust portfolio. Superior technical knowledge of investments and trusts. Thorough knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Windows operating systems/applications (Word, Access, Excel and Trust Management Systems). Superior customer service, written/verbal communication skills. Superior analytical and problem solving skills; ability to make difficult autonomous decisions. Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills.
