Description:

The candidate should have excellent academic achievement, law review or moot court experience, legal aid and clinical experience. Students graduating from law school in academic year 2010-2011 (between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011) and from law school graduates will be considered. Joint-degree law students (J.D./LL.M./Masters, Ph.D.) and graduate from both programs in academic year 2010-2011 (between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011) can also apply. Judicial Law Clerk: Should have graduated from law school, and entered into a judicial clerkship (any U.S. jurisdiction) that terminates between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011. Graduate Law Program (LL.M.) Student: Should have graduated from law school, entered a full time graduate law program (LL.M. program) completed (including a thesis, if required) between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011. Presidential Management Fellows: Should have graduated from law school, entered a Presidential Management Fellowship (PMF) completed between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011. The Fellowship must have started within 9 months after law school graduation. Other Legal Fellowships: Should have graduated from law school and entered a legal fellowship completed between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011. Combination of Judicial Clerkship and Graduate Law Program: Should have a combination of judicial clerkships and graduate law program study that terminates between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011 and meets all of the following conditions: Must have started within 9 months after law school graduation. Must attend graduate law programs full time and actually earn the graduate law degree based on the full time program. Final judicial clerkship or graduate law program must be completed between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011. Application Period: July 26 to September 7, 2010.
