Wedding Scene Investigators is looking for an amazing intern to help with writing and promotion.WHO WE ARE: Wedding Scene Investigators researches wedding venues and vendors in search of the best locations for wedding ceremonies and receptions and to find top-notch florists, caterers, photographers, bakers, and other professionals in the wedding industry. We’re also focused on reporting on the latest trends in the wedding industry, as well as on tips and advice to help with planning a wedding.
WHAT WE NEED: We are looking for a reliable and motivated intern to assist with writing, compiling, and editing articles that fit within the content at WeddingSceneInvestigators.com, as well as promoting those articles around the Web.
REQUIREMENTS: Intern must be a U.S. citizen; be at least 18 years old on or before the first day of internship; be able to receive course credit; have excellent writing and communication skills; have excellent organizational skills; pay special attention to detail; be creative, resourceful, and a problem-solver; be a self-starter, motivated, and enthusiastic; be reliable and hard-working; be computer-savvy; be able to work remotely with a reliable computer and Internet access.
DETAILS/SPECIFICS: This is a 3-month, UNPAID internship, but interns may receive college credit. The hours are flexible, but we ask for a 10-hour per week commitment. The internship may lead to a paid job opportunity in the future.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is the responsibility of the student to determine if an internship will count for college credit. Be sure to check with your academic adviser and/or department head BEFORE starting an internship. It may be necessary for a faculty member, department head, and/or adviser to contact us to ensure that the correct paperwork (learning outcomes, performance evaluation, etc.) is completed in advance of the internship.
