Description:

Online news publication looking for interns for writing web-based articles, stories, blogs and content for a 12-year-old online web newspaper.
The key to media is knowing what is newsworthy, how to write it for the Internet which is totally different than the emphasis and skills required for other media.

Qualifications:

Looking for ambitious and diligent person who wants to learn and grow in this fast-changing and exciting industry.
Intern must have access to Internet, computer and has a passion for new media and journalism.
Good internet and computer skills are required
-A strong interest in current events, news, and content of various sources and interests
-Strong writing skills and knowledge of brands/companies and social media campaigns
-Skilled in online searching
-Experience with popular social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr and Pinterest
-Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and other publishing technologies

Experience in joomla is preferred

Must live in the United States or Canada and can work remotely
