The Marketing intern will create and implement a strategy to market radiant barrier and increase the number of Home Energy Raters in the alliances Providership. The marketing strategy must be geared to increase sales and include advertising, The Marketing Intern will create and implement a marketing strategy that must be
geared to increase sales and include advertising, product pitch, target population, etc.
○ Increase public awareness
○ Participate in outreach events and improve tabling presentation.
○ Develop marketing strategy
○ Search for timely, relevant articles and post them to the website.
○ Develop advertising and content for the website.
○ Determine the appropriate target markets and develop an “elevator pitch.”
○ Implement marketing strategy
Length of Internship: SPRING SEMESTER (January to May)
Time commitment: Min. 10 hours a week, in office, for the duration of the agreed upon service
Qualifications: The candidate should be a business/marketing major or related major, excellent organizational, communication and writing skills, sales, and planning skills, with a flexible schedule.The Alliance for Affordable Energy is a non-profit organization that advocates for fair, affordable, environmentally responsible, community-based energy.
